For her doctoral research, Dr. Davis conducted a qualitative study on interpersonal relational conflicts and introduced the grounded theory of The Conflict Continuum. Her research identified prominent patterns of internal beliefs and perceptions that participants had about significant conflicts in their lives. These perceptions influence how people experience conflict events and dictate how they engage in processes of forgiveness and reconciliation.
Dr. Davis remains engaged with several ongoing projects to expand on her doctoral research and offer further resources on these topics.
